Diagnosis

Central retinal vein occlusion

  • Flame and blot haemorrhages in all four quadrants
  • Dilated, tortuous retinal veins
  • Swollen disc and macular oedema
  • The angiogram frame shows blocked fluorescence from the haemorrhage and the delayed venous filling
