Diagnosis
Papilloedema, staged
- A: early swelling, margins blurred, vessels still visible
- B: established swelling with haemorrhages and obscured vessels
- C: chronic swelling with a champagne cork disc and hard exudates
- D: atrophic papilloedema, the disc pale and flat after the swelling has burnt out
